This product is a pure hydrocarbon resin containing BCB active groups. Through unique molecular design, it achieves extremely low dielectric loss and a stable dielectric constant.

In 5G millimeter wave, autonomous driving radar, and AI computing clusters, it ensures faster and more accurate signal transmission with minimal loss, fundamentally guaranteeing the exceptional performance of end devices. Simultaneously, it overcomes the drawbacks of traditional specialty materials, which are often delicate and difficult to process, by offering excellent thermal stability to withstand harsh environments. It seamlessly integrates with existing standard PCB production processes, allowing you to pursue top-tier performance while significantly reducing manufacturing costs and improving production efficiency.

 

Features and Advantages

  • This product is a pure hydrocarbon resin containing BCB active groups. After curing, it exhibits excellent flatness and thermal stability, along with outstanding properties such as low dielectric constant, low dielectric loss, low coefficient of thermal expansion, and high peel strength. Comparative tests show that the product's overall performance holds a very high competitive advantage.
  • This product can be used in advanced manufacturing fields such as high-grade CCL manufacturing (e.g., M8/M9/M10) and chip packaging.
  • The product has high reactivity and can be flexibly formulated with other unsaturated resins and monomers to highlight its superior performance.

 

Structural Characteristics

The product contains a large number of unsaturated double bonds and benzocyclobutene active groups. It does not require initiators and can undergo self-polymerization or thermosetting reactions with other materials containing unsaturated bonds, forming six-membered or eight-membered ring structural units. This results in a cured material with higher Tg and thermal stability, lower CTE, and good electrical properties.

 

Application Characteristics

The formulated product material can be thermally cured at 170-220°C. Higher temperatures lead to faster curing, offering user-friendly operation and flexible processing.

 

Desytek can polymerize active monomers BCBR, St-BCB, Si-BCB, and PO-BCB individually or conduct graft polymerization with PB, SEBS, PPO, PI, PA, etc., to obtain various prepolymers or resins with special structures. Desytek New Materials can provide customized BCB resins with specific structures and special properties to meet customers' special requirements.
